Chartwell Puppy Creche is the original business, from which K9 Country Club derived.
Created in 2004 by Yevonne Jennings (Honor's Mum), Chartwell Puppy Creche evolved into a hugely successful small business in Hamilton's Northeast.
Yevonne wanted to provide a fun environment where dog owners could take their pets to socialise and gain basic obedience training whilst enjoying a safe and homely atmosphere with piece of mind that their pets were not at home alone.
CPC's successful behaviour-management strategies and philosophy have been recently showcased in the Waikato Times. The front-page article can be viewed via the "Media Releases" link...
In 2008, the demand was such, that Yevonne's daughter, Honor, supported Yevonne in the running and management of the daycare and its customers.
By 2009, Honor further grew the business by sucessfully approaching the Waikato District Council and opening her own "large-breeds" sector, naming it K9 Country Club.
Yevonne's retirement in April 2011 saw Honor and husband, Taare, take ownership and management of the business, retaining only the K9 Country Club brand, but maintaining the care, fun and safety levels Yevonne introduced in her original brand... "Chartwell Puppy Creche".
